Words that have spread like that can sometimes be dull as true. The problem is that these conspiracy theories affect not only the person involved in the incident but also society as a whole. Michael Shermer, an American science writer and scientific skeptic, has been at the forefront of the skepticism movement, working with Jared Diamond and Richard Dawkins to find out what the truth is against pseudo-science, creationism, superstition, and conspiracy theories.
